David Game is a consultant nephrologist at Guy’s Hospital in London.
He qualified in medical sciences at Cambridge University and clinical medicine at Oxford University in 1996 before completing his junior doctor training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. In 2004 he received his PhD from Hammersmith Hospital with a focus on transplant immunology. He then went on to complete his general medical and specialist renal training in the North Thames rotation. He served three years as a clinical lecturer in renal medicine at Imperial College London. He has been a consultant at Guy’s Hospital since 2009.
His research interests are in transplant immunology including cell therapy, markers of tolerance and novel treatments. He also has subspecialty clinical interests include tubular disorders and rare diseases such as cystinosis.
