Mr Chris Cody is a consultant orthotist and head of regional orthotic services, providing strategic planning and coordination of the adult and children’s regional orthotic services for Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospitals.
After qualifying with a first-class honours degree from the University of Salford in 2006, he undertook rotations across Oxford University Hospitals and at Sophies Minde in Oslo, Norway.
He began his career at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, was clinical lead orthotist at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton and St George’s University Hospital, Tooting, before taking up his role at Guy’s and St Thomas’ in 2016.
Mr Chris Cody has expertise in orthotic management polio and post-polio syndrome, stroke, cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions for both adults and children adopting the latest healthcare technologies such as 3D printing, carbon composite design and orthotic prescription digital workflows.
He also has keen interests in foot and ankle pathologies and orthotic management of musculoskeletal conditions.
